Creativity has always felt like breathing to me.
It’s the joy of making something from nothing. Of dreaming, imagining, and letting the mind wander until it fills up with small flashes of truth—tiny sentences, quiet whispers, little quotes that arrive unannounced and refuse to be ignored.
Throughout the day, these thoughts flutter through my mind like unexpected gifts. I believe many of them come from God—shaped by Scripture, filtered through experience, and delivered gently into the ordinary moments of life. They tend to land wherever they can: on Facebook, in my journal, or here on this blog, where they finally settle into paragraphs and find a place to rest.
A few years ago, curiosity led me to do something surprising. I printed every thought I’ve shared on Facebook since 2017. Page after page spilled out of the printer until I stood there holding 357 pages—hundreds of fleeting moments that once passed through my mind and now stared back at me in black and white. Evidence that God had been speaking all along.
Recently, I returned to those pages on purpose. I reread them slowly, thoughtfully, listening again. Today, I want to share 12 quotes that rose to the surface—words I believe were meant not just for me, but perhaps for you. My prayer is that one or two will meet you exactly where you are.

Being in God’s will doesn’t cancel fear. Sometimes obedience looks like moving forward with a shaking heart. Even Nehemiah confessed, “I was very much afraid” (Nehemiah 2:2).
-
Self-reliance rooted in unbelief quietly suffocates purpose. Faced with the impossible, the self-reliant say, “That can’t be done.” The God-reliant respond, “With God, all things are possible. Let’s pray.”
-
I would rather risk being wrong while acting in faith than be right and never move at all.
-
When desire outweighs fear, you move anyway. Passion, when paired with faith, always outruns fear.
-
What you can do in your own strength is only the doorway. Imagine what God could do if you let Him pull you past your comfort zone.
-
Everything begins as a seed. Don’t dismiss what God starts small.
-
God is most glorified where you are most dependent. He will never compete with self-sufficiency—He invites surrender.
-
Purpose is usually forged in private before it’s revealed in public.
-
Your lack of control isn’t weakness—it’s opportunity. It’s where God displays His power and deepens your faith.
-
The good often distracts from the best. Watch for well-timed diversions when you’re walking toward God’s call.
-
Silence every voice that tries to talk you out of obedience—whether it comes from fear, distraction, criticism, or doubt.
-
When you fall, get back up.
Fall again—get back up again.
Keep rising.
Keep standing.
Keep going.
