Before “Someday” Becomes Too Late

Scripture reading: Matthew 22:37–40; 1 John 3:18 There is a particular ache in realizing someone you love has stopped asking for your time. The child who once begged you to play quietly finds something else to do. Your spouse stops trying to tell you about their day. A parent leaves a message that begins, “I [...]

Keep The Fire Alive

In a story called The Lonely Ember, Dr. John MacArthur writes: a man who once showed up every week quietly stopped coming to church. Weeks passed before his pastor went to see him. It was a cold evening. The man sat alone in front of a strong, steady fire. He welcomed the pastor in and [...]

When The Dream Isn’t Enough

Most people dream about the day they can stop working. They picture slow mornings, long afternoons by the pool, and a calendar with nothing on it. No bosses. No alarms. No pressure. At 31, that dream became my reality. And at first, it felt like I had finally arrived. Even more, I believed God had [...]

Living The Life God Designed

You were never meant to drift through life on autopilot—waking, working, surviving, and repeating the cycle without joy or direction. God did not breathe life into you so you could merely exist. You were created to live with purpose, to move with intention, and to shine with meaning. Too often, people settle into a quiet [...]

When Your Mission Is Bigger Than You

Called Beyond Yourself There is a sacred moment every person encounters—the moment you realize what God is asking of you cannot be done in your own strength. It’s the moment confidence fades…when your plans feel insufficient…when your abilities seem too small for the weight of the calling. And in that moment, you stand at a [...]

Caring About What God Cares About

Imagine that you have decided to become a gold miner. You drop everything in the suburbs for a simpler life to pan gold by the side of a stream in the Colorado Rockies. After you start, you can’t believe how easy it is. Day after day you walk fifty yards to the trickling stream near [...]

Does Everything Last Forever

Time is short and eternity is long. It’s hard to imagine living forever because everything in our world has an expiration date. The milk in your refrigerator has an expiration date, your car registration has an expiration date, and even your body has an expiration date. You may have heard people say, “Nothing lasts forever.” [...]
